Garden Greatness: Turbo Tiller

Lately, we’ve been on a bit of an “If it can get us outdoors, we gotta do it” kick, so gardening was the rational next step.  What did we do?  Got a bunch of space, started researching and set ourselves up for gardening greatness.

With greatness comes hard work, usually.  So of course we started looking into the tools that might make gardening just a little easier for us.  One of these tools was the Turbo Tiller Plus TT1000.  We contacted the company and got to work finding out everything we could .

The Turbo Tiller gets attached to a regular hand-drill (Size 3/8″ or 1/2″) and you chose one of three size adjustments by removing parts of the drive shaft.  Then its as easy as turning your drill against your soil to bore through, till and mix amendment.

One of the most important features for us is durability. (We break everything, simple fact) and the Turbo Tiller Plus TT1000 stood up proudly to both rocky soil and clay, where most tillers would have crumbled.  Then flexibility, with the adjustable driver lengths you can work kneeling in the dirt, standing over raised flower beds, or standing up without a problem.  Ease of use?  It is fairly easy to control by itself with a regular hand drill, but using one with a side handle makes it a breeze.

Check out the Turbo Tiller Plus TT1000 on the official Turbo Tiller website.
